DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. DAY        

REMEMBER!  CELEBRATE! ACT!  A DAY ON… NOT A DAY OFF!

The NPPD Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Program is pleased to announce two (2) Special Emphasis Program Observance Events that will be held in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. All NPPD employees within the National Capitol Region (NCR) are welcome to participate in these events. A remote access link is provided for the FEMA event only.

Host DHS Component: United States Coast Guard (USCG)

Date:  January 10, 2016

Time:  12 Noon – 1 P.M.

Location: USCG, Ceremonial Entrance-2703 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. SE Washington, D.C.

Description:  Keynote Speaker-Honorable John Lewis, U.S. House of Representatives

Special Instructions:  If you plan to attend this event, please send an RSVP email with your first and last name to Juan.L.Torres@uscg.mil no later than NOON on Monday, January 9, 2017. You are asked to arrive at the event location by 11:15 A.M. to allow time to go through security check and to be seated. Please ensure that you have your PIV Cards for entry.
