Team DHS Volunteers at DC Central Kitchen

DCCK 7.21.16

DHS employees gathered in July at DC Central Kitchen to help prepare food for DC’s homeless. Each day, DC Central Kitchen’s staff makes over 5,000 meals by cutting, chopping and peeling thousands of pounds of food. Last year alone, 1.8 million meals were distributed throughout the local community.

If you would like to volunteer at DC Central Kitchen with your fellow DHS colleagues, there is another opportunity coming up on August 18th from 5-8pm. Please send an email to Philip.S.Fuller@uscis.dhs.gov to register.
