CEOs Need Mentors Too

The greatest act of leadership is mentoring. The most important responsibility of leadership is to prepare for succession. Leaders have an obligation to pass on principles, knowledge, wisdom, skills, and insight to the next generation. 

In the federal government, mentoring is more the exception than the rule.
